The attorney-client relationship starts with a consultation. In a privledged and confidential setting, your situation can be evaluated, legal and other issues can be identified, and various can be options discussed.

If appropriate and if we can help you, we may enter into a written retainer agreement. The retainer agreement will define scope of services our firm will provide to attempt to achieve your identified goals.

Client goals can be achieved in a variety of different ways. Often, the "parties agree to disagree," but can informally settle their differences. Sometimes, more formal processes, like arbitration or litigation, are required to reach final judgment.
